On the 1st of December Christmas came early for an 18 year old, first year apprentice at Midwest Electrical in Geraldton.

Aaron Behiels was the winner of the national Irwin “Win a Ute” promotion which means that from now on he’ll be driving a Ford Falcon XR6 ute to work every morning.

“The win couldn’t have come at a better time...” said an electrician who works with Aaron, “He’d just been looking at some second hand car’s before he got the call”.

Aaron thanked Ron Chaytor, the State Manager for Irwin Tools and Auslec Geraldton for making him enter the competition after saying “it’s not like I’d ever win”.

It’s the second big win for Auslec Geraldton this year with the first prize in the TipTastic footy tipping competition, a home theatre system, going to Ben Shanks, 19, of Shanks Electrical earlier this year.
